Hello from the beautiful state of Virginia! We are a fun-loving family of 3, plus our sweet lab, Beau, and our cat, Cookie. Thank you so much for taking the time to get to know us. We are so excited to share our silliness, our faith, the joy of family traditions, and lots of love with a child. We are praying for your comfort and look forward to speaking with you!

About Us

We met over 10 years ago at work--Carter is a Chef and Tiffany worked in Administration. Carter is very funny and couldn't stop making Tiffany smile. We spoke about adoption when we were dating, and it has been on our hearts ever since. We keep God at the center of our relationship and love to spend time together. 5 years ago, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Levi.  We look forward to becoming a family of 4 through adoption and sharing time together, exploring, vacations, movie/game nights, visiting family, lots of hugs, bedtime stories and so much more!

As a family, we enjoy:

  • Road trips to explore the Blue Ridge-especially the trails in the Wetlands to discover birds, lizards, deer, fish and other wildlife

  • Bible Study, prayer, church time

  • Taking our weekly trip to the downtown farmers' market is one our favorite things to do

  • Family trips to amusement parks, the children's museum, parks, the beach, fishing & camping-sometimes camping in the backyard is fun too!

  • Board games, blocks/Legos, science experiments

  • Having friends/family over for meals and great conversation

  • Riding bikes and playing soccer in the backyard

About My Wife, Tiffany

Carter says: Tiffany is very kind, dependable, hard-working, loyal, and funny. She is an amazing mom. You can always count on her big smile to brighten things up. She enjoys baking, gardening, and crafts. She is very organized and is great about remembering all of the small details when it comes to family traditions. She enjoys writing and sending letters to family and friends. She has a strong relationship with Jesus and cherishes growing closer to Him. She is excited to welcome our next child into the family and teach him or her many new recipes, read Goodnight Moon to him or her, and play games like hide-and-seek!

About my Husband, Carter

Tiffany says: Carter is devoted, hard-working, humble, patient, and super funny! He is a Chef, a great leader, and very talented. He loves to watch football, take care of our fruit trees and vegetable garden, spend time with family, cook wonderful meals, and spend time outside relaxing by the fire. He is a wonderful dad and role model to our son and loves being active in his life. He leaves notes for us in the morning, encouraging us to have a good day and telling us how much he loves us. His relationship with God is very important to him. He looks forward to loving our next child unconditionally, playing outside with him or her on our swing set, taking them on "Days with Dad" to the museum or the park, and building forts in the living room with them!

Our Son and Family

Our son, Levi, is 5 years old. He is a very sweet, curious, smart, funny, and athletic little boy who loves superheroes and dinosaurs! He loves to play basketball and soccer with leagues in our community. He has joined a Scout Troop and loves it! He loves going on walks to hunt for rocks, sticks, and leaves, and is always up for a good puddle to splash in! We know he will be a wonderful big brother, and he's excited to share his dinosaur knowledge with a sibling!

Our family is so excited about our adoption journey. We have a total of 7 nieces, ages 0 to 12. Our family is thrilled to help us welcome another child to the family through adoption!

Our Home in Virginia

We live in a safe and friendly small-town suburban neighborhood. We have a huge park with a pool, kids ride-on train, and a duck pond less than .5 mile from our home and beautiful scenery. We live in a 3-story cape cod brick home with 4 bedrooms. Our finished basement is used as a playroom and 2nd living space.  We like having our home clean, inviting, kid-friendly and cozy. We love taking walks in our neighborhood with our friendly dog, Beau (who we adopted almost 9 years ago), and playing in our fenced-in backyard where we have a swing set. We also enjoy tending to our small vegetable garden and our new apple/peach trees in the backyard.

Our Promise

We promise to give your child a supportive, loving, and fun home. We are committed to raising him or her with Christian morals and values and teaching and modeling kindness, love, respect, gratitude, and compassion. We promise to always tell him or her about you and to always display our love and appreciation for you. We are open to letters, photos, and occasional visits at your comfort level.  Thank you so much for getting to know us and for considering us as a family for your child. We would love to hear from you!
