Thank you for getting to know us! We have been married fifteen years. Our relationship began when we were in our teens - pen pals turned to texting and eventually marriage.  We have always planned on welcoming a child into our home, and now feel called to adoption.  Our home is filled with love, laughter, and fun.

Beginning our adoption journey has brought excitement, and we are looking forward to sharing our love with a child. We consider it a great honor to be a part of this baby's life, and we want you to know that we are open to continued communication through letters, e-mails, and photographs.

We enjoy being outside, visiting parks and zoos. Our love for nature is something that we can't wait to share with a little one! We also enjoy attending and participating in church services, and we know our church family will adore the child we adopt.

About Us

We met as teenagers when Jeremy visited Angela's church with his family. Our story is truly an old-fashioned love story! We wrote letters to each other until cell phones became popular, and then we switched to text messages. We've now been happily married over 15 years! We've been through infertility and tried treatments, with no success. Our journey has brought us to adoption and we're excited to become parents this way.

We both enjoy nature and spending time outside. Going to zoos, parks, and boating are some of our favorite things to do. Teaching a little one to swim, growing vegetables, and taking care of animals are things we plan to continue doing as parents.

As active members of our church, we assist with planning and chaperoning youth group activities, as well as serving as Sunday School teachers. We also have multiple nieces and nephews who have been a big part of our lives.

About Jeremy

Jeremy is a loving, kind, thoughtful husband.  We were quite young when we met, but I was drawn to his sense of humor and love for helping others.  He is friendly and outgoing; he is always telling jokes and trying to get people to laugh. Jeremy's laughter is contagious, and his smile is charming. He is a true gentleman.

Jeremy is a welder by trade. Because of his commitment to hard work, he has been advanced to the supervisory role of a service technician line.  He works in the RV industry, building custom-made axles.

While I love the farm animals, it is Jeremy who works hard to keep them happy and comfortable. He is usually the one to feed the goats and collect the eggs. Jeremy is also a grill master, and he loves dad jokes.

As a father, Jeremy will be kind but firm. He is gentle with all children and is a well-loved uncle to our nephews and nieces. Jeremy will teach our child to be faithful, hard-working, and loving.

About Angela

I fell in love with Angela's kind-hearted soul and quirkiness. She loves to go out of her way to help people; kindness and generosity are key traits of her personality. We share a common interest in the outdoors; activities such as hiking, fishing, boating, swimming, and going to zoos appeal to both of us. We also enjoy indoor activities such as visiting museums and musical theater dinner shows. Angela enjoys cooking and baking (and I enjoy sampling what she makes!). She loves to try new recipes.

Angela works as a Registered Nurse for a local hospital where she gets to share her loving, compassionate heart with others. She's worked in healthcare since college and puts her heart into everything she does.

Angela will teach our children to be kind, helpful, and give them all the resources available to help them reach their full potential. I am so excited to experience parenting with my wonderful wife.

Our Family and Friends

We have a loving and supportive group of family and friends. When we announced our decision to pursue adoption, we were inundated with support and offers to help in any way that they could. Angela's parents are beyond excited to welcome their first grandchild. Her mom and dad live about 30 minutes away and have always been there to help us. Jeremy's mom and stepdad are also very excited and supportive. They live out of town and we make the drive to visit them several times a year, enjoying camping, boating, and fishing when we're together.

Our church "family" has a wide range of folks who are ready to welcome our child with open arms. There are several couples in our church who have small children, so we know we'll have their support as we become parents.

We are excited to include a baby in our family's holiday traditions, including a huge Thanksgiving meal and candy-making at Christmastime, as well as everyday pastimes including playing games, reading books, and taking walks outside.

Our Home in Indiana

Our home is in northern Indiana on a few acres of partially-wooded property. We have four bedrooms and two bathrooms. The rural setting that we call home allows us the opportunity to have a mini-farm, vegetable garden, and small walking path in the woods. Fortunately, we are a short driving distance from all of our shopping needs as well. Northern Indiana offers one the experience of all four seasons; we typically experience a white Christmas and have a fair share of summertime sunshine as well.

Pets: Diesel is our Husky/Lab mix. He is very playful, energetic, and friendly. We also have miniature goats, and a group of egg-laying hens.

Our Promise to You

We believe that children are a gift from God. It is an honor to be considered as adoptive parents. We promise, in our family, your child will be loved, supported, and provided for. We believe in a balance of fun and teaching responsibility, and that every child should have opportunities to learn, grow, and explore. We value the importance and need for education and hard work, but we find family vacations and leisure time just as important. We will treasure all of the milestones of raising a child, including the wonder and joy of seeing animals at the zoo, tasting ice cream for the first time, first steps, and more.

We plan to instill in our child a love for God and others. Helping others in need is important to us, and we plan to lead our child by example. After the adoption, we are open to keeping in touch, if you would like, via phone calls, text messages, and photographs. To learn more about us, please call or text Lifetime at 1.800.923.6784.

More About Our Family

A Perfect Day

We thoroughly enjoy time together outside. A perfect day would include a trip to the zoo, beach, or park. Canoeing a local river is relaxing and fun. On days that are rainy or too cold, we like to be inside playing games, reading books, or putting puzzles together.

Our Hobby Farm

We love animals and gardening. We have miniature goats. Our hobby farm has hens that supply us with farm fresh eggs. We plant a vegetable garden every year, and share some of our crop with family and friends. There is nothing like the taste of a garden-fresh tomato still warm from the sun!

Our Values

We are a Christian couple that believe the Bible is the "road-map" for how to live life. The theme throughout the Bible is God's love, mercy, and grace. We endeavor to live a life of love, show mercy to others (and ourselves), and trust that God's grace is sufficient in every situation. Honesty, open communication, and trust are essential elements in our home. We value the importance of lending a hand when there is a need and helping others whenever possible.

3 Things We Love About Where We Live

1. Northern Indiana is a beautiful place to live! We have beautiful autumn colors, snow-capped trees, spring tulips, and summers that are hot enough for the beach or pool.

2. Our location enables us to experience country living or just as easily have our choice of city activities.

3. This area is culturally diverse and has a rich history. There are many opportunities to learn about different cultures and their histories via local museums and historical centers.

In Closing

We are honored that you chose to consider learning more about our family. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We are open to communication with you throughout the child's development.

As we welcome our first child, we anticipate instilling within him or her a love for God and others. Our child will find themselves surrounded by a supportive extended family and church family.

We are excited to take part in helping a little one discover the beautiful world around us. We plan to visit zoos, play in parks, and experience nature. Education is important to us, and we will do all we can to encourage and help the child realize his or her full potential.
