A Letter from Jesse & Cassie
Hello from the Pacific Northwest! We thrive on community and living life with people. We are passionate about kids and are excited to have shared experiences with them – trips to the park, the zoo, or the backyard! We are eager to hear your future hopes and dreams for your child, and we are open to any level of communication you are most comfortable with including photos, letters and/or visits.
Things we love:
board games
paddle boarding
dirt biking
hosting family dinners
going to dinner and a movie.
Our Story
Jesse and I met in college over ten years ago. We have been together for five and a half years, and have been married for the last four. We look forward to traveling every year for our anniversary, but also love little moments like sharing a late-night bowl of ice cream while watching our favorite movie or TV show.
We learned early in our dating relationship that adoption was going to be the way that we would grow our family. We have talked about and dreamt of the day that we become parents, and we are so excited that each day it grows closer.
A large part of our time is spent working with the local youth group. When we aren’t helping with youth, you can find us hosting backyard barbeques, bonfires, or spending time with family and friends. We also enjoy our time outdoors enjoying all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Meet My Husband, Jesse
Jesse is a wholehearted person. He cares whole-heartedly, he loves wholeheartedly, and he values family and our marriage wholeheartedly.
Jesse is the director of student ministries at our church. He was born and raised where we live, so it’s truly special for us to be able to give back to the communities where he grew up. Jesse loves family traditions, making things matter, and prioritizing the things that are the most valuable. When he’s not working, you can find him tinkering in his shop, riding a motorcycle, or preparing for our next family camping trip in our camper.
Meet My Wife, Cassie
Cassie is the most thoughtful, encouraging, and caring person that I know. Her ability to make anyone feel welcomed and loved is evident all the time. She has this way about her that makes any place we’ve lived in feel like home.
Cassie is excited to hang up her apron strings and become a full time mom. She currently manages a coffee shop where her love of training and investing in others comes to life. She also loves the simplicity of the outdoors. From paddle boarding, hiking with friends, or taking our camper out for an extended weekend, you can always find her soaking in every moment, and every ray of sun. When the Northwest weather doesn’t permit those activities, she loves to gather all on the couch for a movie, or at the table for a game; always with a cozy blanket and cup of hot tea in hand. She also really enjoys refinishing furniture or working on a home project to make things feel more “us.” In the end, her desire to develop a healthy, strong family unit that unconditionally loves each other is an atmosphere I know she will create as a mother.
Our Home in Washington
Our house is nestled in the heart and soul of the Pacific Northwest. We live in a cozy ranch-style home where love and joy flourish. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, and a HUGE front and back yard where kids can run around and play. We have a fire pit and a large covered back porch where we enjoy entertaining friends and family. We also live in front of the bus stop which has allowed us to get to know many of our neighbors (and their kids)!
Our Family
We are so blessed to have such supportive family and friends. They eagerly await the arrival of your baby almost as much as we do. Jesse’s family has been rooted in the valley we live, for over 35 years. We thrive on family traditions like our yearly trip to Silverwood (a theme park in Idaho), celebrating holidays, and our monthly family dinner/game nights.
Cassie’s family is rooted in Montana. We get back to visit them often where we have nieces and nephews who would love to have a new playmate when we come visit. Our family traditions include going day after Thanksgiving shopping, eating our secret family ‘spaghetti and meatball’ recipe, and telling really good jokes.
Our Promise
Your child will know every day how much they are loved not only by us, but by you. We are dedicated to caring for, nurturing, and loving your baby well. We will always work to help your child discover what gifts they have that make them exceptional and unique. We cannot wait to meet you and your baby and we are honored, and humbled that you’re willing to take the time to get to know us.

More About Our Family | ||
Our Hope as New Parents | We hope our kids to always know how much we love God, one another, and them. We want to help our kids be successful in whatever they choose to do, and we will work hard to make sure that they have access to resources, education, and a whole lot of fun. We hope to teach them what it means to be a hard worker, to be true to their word, and to always appreciate a good firm handshake.
Our Faith | Our faith is why we get out of bed everyday. We both love being able to pour into the lives of young people. We love that church functions as a community, and we are so excited for our kids to grow up in a safe, wholesome environment. Cassie also volunteers teaching Sunday school. We love doing ministry as a family, and can't wait to have a third member of our family to serve along with us.
Our Dog Otto | Otto has been called 'the sweetest dog in the world' by many! He's a calm, sweet dog who loves affection and enjoys being around people. Otto loves having kids around, playing fetch, and going on long walks or hikes as time allows. All it takes is a quick whistle and Otto will be at your feet with tail wagging.
Our Community | You already heard about our supportive families, but we also have a supportive church. Our church community is full of people who we love and trust. We have a group of about 10-15 young families at our church who band together to support each other. We have been able to love, grow and learn alongside all of these families, and we are so fortunate to have them alongside us as we walk into parenthood. Since most of our friends already have children (or are still having children), we know that we are in this together. We are excited for our kids to have friends who they grow up with.
