A Letter from Marty & Caroline
Hello from our happy little farm! We’re a kind, loving couple and we like traveling, working, and cooking together! We’ve been best friends for 8 years and are so excited to be on this path to adoption. It would be an honor and answer to prayer to include your child in our life, as first-time parents. If you are willing, we would love to stay in touch with you, at your comfort level.
A few highlights:
• We met in our church youth group.
• We’ve been married over 6 years, together for 8.
• We believe in loyalty, honesty, our faith, working hard, and being kind and loving to others.
• Friends would say we’re kind, fun, and a little shy but friendly.
• Caroline will be a stay-at-home mom.
• We’re excited to adopt our first child!
Things we enjoy together:
• Hiking the mountains close to our house
• Going to National Parks
• Local festivals and events
• Campfires and grilling
• Attending Sunday school and church services
• Board games and puzzles
• Family movie nights
I love being a homemaker, gardening and taking care of our goats. I’m excited to become a stay-at-home mom!
Marty says: Caroline is friendly, kind, and makes sure everyone in the family is taken care of. She has a compassionate heart and will be a great mom!
• Painting and remodeling houses
• Playing piano
I work in trucking, ranching, and recycling. I own a business turning bakery waste into cattle feed, which allows me to work from home often.
Caroline says: Marty is loyal, kind, and works hard. He’s great with children and loves to play games with the kids in our lives. I know he will be a great dad!
• Remote control airplanes
• Working with animals
• Repairing things
We live in central New Mexico on a little farm just a couple miles from town, close to Marty’s sisters. We like that New Mexico offers a great variety of things to do outdoors, like snowboarding, hiking, White Sands National Park, and more! Our ranch-style home has 6 bedrooms and a large yard. We have a room planned for the nursery and we’re excited to decorate it after we adopt.
We both have large families and get together often. We also have a great group of friends and we do weekend game nights together. Two of Marty’s sisters and one of his brothers lives close to us and we see them often. The rest of Marty’s family is spread out across the country and it’s fun when we get chances to see them. We enjoy traveling to see Caroline’s family too.
In our family there are 88 nieces and nephews, so there will be plenty of cousins for our child to play with! Several of Marty’s cousins have even adopted children, so adoption is already a part of our extended family. Everyone is excited to welcome the child we adopt!
When our family gets together we love:
• All the adults & children playing games together
• Volleyball or kickball
• Big Christmas gift exchange
We promise to truly love your child, unconditionally, and be interested in and a part of your child’s dreams and goals. We will provide a stable, Christian home, with fun, traditional values, and loving communication. As parents we will value education and will model how to be kind and loving to others.
From the beginning, we plan to tell our child their story and how we came together because of adoption. We like the idea of open adoption, if you’re comfortable, and would be open to sharing photos, letters, and visits with you. You will always hold a special place in our hearts.
With loving hearts, Marty & Caroline

More About Our Family
Pets & Farm Animals
We have 3 dogs, a few chickens, and lots of goats! Our two Beagle dogs, Zac and Zoey, love to take walks and go exploring with us. Riley is our Anatolian Shepherd and such a love bug (she loves hugs!). The chickens lay fresh eggs for us and we could spend hours watching the baby goats jump and play.
Why we're hoping to adopt
Before we came to adoption we went through infertility and a miscarriage. We feel God has led us to adoption and it gives us so much hope and peace in our hearts. We're excited to grow our family this way!
What we love most about where we live
Here we get a gorgeous view of the mountains where we enjoy great hiking, biking, camping, and skiing. We also love the food and the many days of sunshine!
Things we look forward to as parents
We hope to share with a child our loving family, faith in God, and our love for nature and traveling. We will share our passion for gardening and growing quality food to eat, and we can’t wait for them to experience the joys of growing up around baby goats, romping and playing. We’re ready to make lots of fun childhood memories here on our farm!

We're excited our story has led us to adopt and become first-time parents this way. It would be great to learn more about you and the hopes you have for your child's future. Our lives are set up to provide everything a child could need and we will support him or her in their personal goals and dreams, in any way we can. We commit to creating a stable, happy place to grow up, and giving our full attention and guidance as parents. Thank you for learning about the life we'd love to share with your child! When you're ready we'd love to talk with you.
