A Letter from Mason & Regina
Hello from New Mexico! We have a happy home, and two amazing kids. We’re playful, creative, and love the outdoors! We became an adoptive family of four through open adoption and can’t wait to see our family grow again! We’re excited to learn more about you and the life you want for your child.
About Us
We have been best friends for over 15 years. We met in college and never get tired of each other’s company! Our favorite activities involve sitting around the fire – Roasting marshmallows, grilling for family gatherings, and campfires in the wilderness are a few things we do best!
National forest is just two hours away, which is where we camp, fish, hike, and cut firewood together as a family. Our favorite day trip is to White Sands National Monument where we all enjoy sledding down the white sand dunes! Day to day, you’ll find the four of us around the dinner table, on a family bike ride, mixing new slime recipes, dancing to our favorite jams, or deep into an impromptu LEGO building party. We love being parents! And we’re excited to laugh, learn, and create with our next child.
We strive to follow Jesus’ example in everything we do. Our most fervent prayer is for our children to love Him in the same way.
Meet Regina
Regina is such an amazing person! She loves children, is a wonderful friend, and she’s thoughtful, patient and considerate. Everyone who really knows her loves her. To relax, she reads, knits, or does puzzles. She likes to bake bread and makes the best peanut brittle at Christmas!
Regina is a wonderful stay-at-home mom! She takes excellent care of our kids. It’s amazing to watch her. She freely gives them her time, attention, and comforting words. She engages them with creative learning activities and is always ready to sing or dance with them. Regina loves rediscovering the world through the eyes of children and looks forward to science experiments and story time with our next child! She’s awesome!
Meet Mason
Mason is gentle, wise, and the most patient person I know. There is kindness in his eyes. His generous heart makes him a great pastor and father. He uses his wood shop and other daily activities to instill valuable life skills to our children, like safety and the value of hard work. Mason freely gives affirmation and reassurance in the time they spend together, and I know he’ll do the same for our next child.
Mason is also a craftsman. He is skilled in carpentry and automotive repair. He can fix or build anything. He even built the family crib! He has a great appreciation for the outdoors and loves to share gardening, and wildlife adventures with our family. He’s eager to teach our next child everything he knows!
Our Family
Mason Jr. (9) is truly a happy, inquisitive, and energetic boy. He loves all things dinosaur and science. He’s also fast (on his feet and on his BMX bike). Mason Jr. has been a wonderful big brother!
Georgia (5) is a strong, smart, and silly girl. Cats and mermaids are her favorites. She’s very expressive and keeps us laughing with her giggles and creative dance moves. There’s a bounce in everything she does. We love that open adoption allows us the chance to share with her where she started and how our family came together, so that she always knows how loved she is by us and her birth mother.
Extended Family: Regina’s mom lives nearby, so we see her weekly. We love making cactus jelly with her in the fall. Mason’s family visits often and we like to meet them for the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta. Our kids have young cousins on both sides! Everyone is excited to embrace a new cousin/grandbaby!
Our Home in New Mexico
Our home is on three acres surrounded by old farmland with mountains in every direction. We’ve planted over 50 trees including a pistachio orchard, peach, apple, pear and pecan trees. There is plenty of room for our next child to grow and explore around the property!
The house is a spacious, three-bedroom, adobe home with tons of character and history. Our favorite feature is the fireplace – it burns all winter long!
In our home, we strive to playfully foster an environment of tenderness, humility, patience, forgiveness, and above all, LOVE. Home is a refuge for all of us.
Our Promise
We promise to love your child! We will be their biggest fan, offering much opportunity and encouragement to discover who they are meant to be. They will be esteemed and valued. We will be careful to train them in what is good and pleasing to God. We’re excited to share letters, pictures, and visits with you, however you are comfortable with staying connected with us. We promise we will always talk about you out of love and respect and help your child to know how much you mean to our family.

More About Our Family | ||
What Adoption Means to Us | After having our son we experienced secondary infertility. Although this was unexpected, adoption had always been on our hearts. Growing our family through adoption has been an amazing blessing for our family! We met our daughter and her beautiful mother the day she was born and our lives have never been the same. It's an honor to raise her and support her as she grows up and we love being able to share an open adoption with her birth mother. We exchange letters and pictures with Georgia's birth mother, and we even send some of her artwork by mail. That's how she wants to keep in touch with us and we will respect your wishes about how an ongoing connection with us could look like through your child's adoption.
A Day in the Life... | Mason has the flexibility to work from home or from his office at the church he pastors. He takes Mondays off and is home everyday for lunch. His week never looks the same but it's always filled with people and work projects. Sometimes he comes home with freshly baked cookies, books for the kids, or a tomato plant for the garden - all from his many interactions with friends from the church and community. Regina has loved the freedom to stay home with the kids! When they are in school, she uses her time to support the women's and children's ministries at our church. She also likes to pop in on her mom for breakfast or plan a time for them to sew together. She gives the kids all of her attention when they get home from school. Mason can't wait to show off his newest Pokemon trade and all Georgia can think about is her snack!
More of our Interests | Mason loves all things nature. He's always up for a trip to the mountains and has made many backpacking trips into the wilderness areas of New Mexico; his fly rod is never left behind. He's captivated by farming techniques both old and new and is fascinated by the miracle of a sprouting seed. He's knowledgeable with engines and automotive repair, construction, and carpentry. Occasionally he'll draw the most amazing, and detailed pencil drawings - he has PERFECT hand writing! Regina is a mathematician at heart. Her dream job would have been to be a calculator for NASA! She's worked as an engineer in the past on submarines, planes, and helicopters. Now, she loves the availability staying at home gives her to serve our family. She especially loves sending cards at Christmas.
Fun Facts | Mason is a national 4H champion!

We love being parents, and it would be an honor to raise your child in our healthy, safe, and stable family. We’re ready to embrace an open adoption and look forward to learning more about you! |
