A Letter from Tesha
Hi, and thank you for considering me for your child.
I am excited to become a first-time mom and to provide your child with a loving family and home. I am beyond blessed and overjoyed to help them grow, learn, and follow their passions. I love to travel and look forward to providing your child with many experiences around the world. Your child will be provided for in all that they do and loved every step of the way. I look forward to getting to know you, and I am open to letters, pictures, and visits.
I am an aunt, godmother, mentor, and strong woman who is caring and supportive. I graduated from college with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing, and then an MBA in Marketing Management. Now, I work as a marketing and communications professional and enjoy volunteering, taking pictures, dabbling in graphic design, traveling, and painting.
While I am naturally an introvert, I’m very much an extrovert when with family and those close to me. I love to make silly faces with my nephew, recite words to his favorite movies, and play hide and seek. In 2012, I joined a mentoring program where I mentored a young girl from fifth grade through her program graduation. Now, she is a college freshman and we remain in touch to this day. I have loved being a mentor and am so excited to become a mom. I look forward to welcoming your child into my home and family and providing them with an adventurous and loving upbringing.
I love to travel! I have been to many Caribbean islands, Mexico, and all over the United States. I am excited to one-day take your child around the world to expose them to other cultures, people, and places, such as Disney! Amusement parks are one of my family’s favorite places to go and we often made family trips around them. Volunteering and helping others are also important to me and I look forward to sharing this passion with your child. In my down time, I enjoy riding bikes on the boardwalk, bowling, mini golf, watching basketball, and doing DIY projects, such as plank wood projects and kitchen decor.
I am the oldest of two and grew up in the town where I reside. Much of my family lives within two miles from me, and I love having them so close. My brother has two kids, a baby and a toddler, and we love having sleepovers at my house and play dates with friends. I am excited for my child to grow up with their cousins so close.
I consider my friends my family, too; we love to support local organizations. It’s always a fun time! My friends come from a variety backgrounds and ethnicities, and many of them have small children or babies. My family and friends are very supportive and excited about my adoption. They all look forward creating experiences with your child and welcoming them into the family.
I live in a family-friendly community in the suburbs with my small dog, Max. He loves to snuggle and loves people. My house has an open floor plan with three bedrooms. Your child will have their own room and a comfortable and positive atmosphere where they can try new things and grow. I have a patio, deck, and backyard with plenty of space to play and just relax outside. I live near many parks, two within walking distance, and within a wonderful school district where your child will receive a great education.
I am excited to share my family’s traditions of holiday gatherings, amusement parks, and more with your child. My family also loves spending time together at sporting events and family dinners, which I’m looking forward to including your child. My family and friends are so excited to support your child at their first dance recital, soccer practice, or any other activity that peeks their interest. There are several babies and young children in my family and I look forward to watching your child grow alongside their cousins who will be close in age. I also look forward to them celebrating at each other’s birthdays and supporting each other in school.
I promise to care for and love your child with all my heart. I will provide them with stability and a life full of learning and laughter. Your child will get the best that I can give and I will ensure that he/she is safe. I promise to help them discover their interests and provide the support needed for them flourish. Thank you for taking time to learn more about me. I truly look forward to nurturing your child into an educated, well-rounded young adult and look forward to getting to know you, as well. I am open to sharing letters and pictures and visits to your comfort level.
