As an Adoption Coordinator, Christie works with birth parents in educating them about adoption. She helps connect birth parents with adoptive families that they feel will provide a loving home for their child. Christie wants her families to know she is here to help them in this process. She says “It is very humbling to see the selflessness of a birth parent. Every adoption is so unique, and I am incredibly grateful to be able to do something I am so passionate about.”
She shares, “I previously worked as a case manager in the Florida child welfare and foster care system helping families access resources and come to terms with problems. I have always wanted a career where I could make a difference in people’s lives, so I attended Saint Leo University where I attained my bachelor’s degree in social work. I am fortunate to have a career at Lifetime that I love and where I can help others.”
When not at work, Christie enjoys spending time with her husband and their four daughters. She spends a lot of time at her children’s different sporting events. She also enjoys being outdoors, spending a day on the beach in her hammock, or going to a concert.
