Franklin and Betsy are a bilingual Christian couple in Wisconsin who love to laugh, spend time with family, and enjoy the outdoors. They’re hoping to adopt a boy or girl up to three years old and are open to any race, twins, and siblings. Franklin works as a cook and Betsy’s a teacher. They both plan to be part-time stay-at-home parents once they adopt. Franklin and Betsy like to be outdoors, whether it’s camping, biking, taking their dog on walks, or playing yard games.
Franklin is from Nicaragua and Betsy is from Wisconsin, so they speak both English and Spanish. They met at church in Nicaragua when Betsy was there teaching English to children. They’re open to future contact through letters, pictures, and visits.

Franklin and Betsy share, “We are excited to teach choreography to our future children and to have us all dance together! We also both enjoy being outside camping, biking, and playing yard games. We are looking forward to spending days playing games and being silly with our kids, cuddling up around the campfire on trips, and tucking into our sleeping bags and tents. We talked about having children and adopting even before we were married. We both always knew we wanted to adopt and can’t wait to finally hold our children in our arms!”
