We love Jesus, going for hikes, and simply enjoying life with each other. We are so excited to share our faith, love for the outdoors, reading, our family and friends, and our exciting family traditions with your child.
About Us
We have been together for 7 years! From the beginning, even before dating, we both knew we wanted adoption to be part of our family. In early 2021, we were blessed with the birth of our son, Eli, and are thrilled to now grow our family through adoption! We love to go on hikes and play outdoors as a family with our two dogs, Twizz and Qtip. Hiking is a staple in our family, and we are so excited to share it with our children as they grow! We have a ton of Movie Nights and Game Nights with extended family and our friends. We are so blessed to have been adopted into the family of Christ, and we are so excited to share that same love with your child as they grow.
About Rachel
Rachel is kind, dependable, and full of life! She loves hiking, kayaking, camping, fort building, and going to the beach. If it’s outside, she wants to be a part of it! At the same time, she is overjoyed to stay inside and relax with a good book, watch a movie, or complete a puzzle. She enjoys life, loves fiercely, and is an amazing stay-at-home mom to our son. She loves to share her passion for the outdoors with him and read him bedtime stories. She reminds us to laugh and have fun! She is so excited to teach our children how to sing loudly, love boldly, get dirty outside, and enjoy yummy food.
About Ethan
Ethan is devoted, loving, and full of joy. He loves being outside hiking, playing basketball, kayaking, and spending time with Eli and our dogs. He encourages others, prays for them, lends a hand, and loves deeply. He loves working with others and works as a youth minister at our church and a high school math teacher. He loves cheering on his sports teams with Eli, going on bike rides, telling corny dad jokes, and going on road trips. He can’t wait to teach this and more to your child. He looks forward to teaching our kids about Jesus, math, dad jokes, how to love well, and how to help those around them.
Our Son and Family
Our son, Eli, is two years old and is such a blessing in our lives. He is so sweet and it has been amazing to watch him grow! We know Eli is going to be a great big brother.
We each come from loving and supportive families that we see every week. They are excited about our adoption and have been amazing through it all. They love to spend time with Eli and are always willing to offer a helping hand. Our friends are also a constant, loving presence in our lives. Some of our favorite family/ friend traditions include game nights, movie nights, hiking, playing at the park, going to the beach, camping, and more. Our family is so excited to help welcome your child into the family!
Our Home in Georgia
We live in a safe and friendly neighborhood, in a one-story home with a large backyard that we love to play in. Our home provides a loving space for so many people in our lives. We host Bible studies, get-togethers, games nights, and have friends and family over often. We have a garden, cozy blankets, fluffy dogs, yummy food, lots of trees, colorful walls, and a whole lot o’ love that make our home special to us. Our open and cozy home already has a nursery ready for our next child!
Our Promise
We promise that your child will be taught the love of Christ through example, shown that they are fiercely loved, and supported in all that they do. We will teach them about all the things that we love, show them the importance of loving and helping others, and help them be a lifelong learner. We promise to teach them patiently and to make sure they feel heard and listened to. We look forward to taking them to as many state and national parks as we can and watching the wonderful sibling bond that will grow between them and our son. We promise they will have a healthy dose of family trips, beach vacations, camping trips, bonfires, game nights, tacos, and puppies. We would love to keep in touch with you and share with you through pictures, letters, and yearly meet-ups with quick access to tacos- at your comfort level.
