You can learn about your open adoption choices.
There are 3 main choices women have in adoption. You can pick the adoptive parents, what contact looks like after the adoption, and how things go at the hospital. All of these things you can talk about before you ever decide if adoption is right for you.
We will send you links to parents ready to adopt for you to look at. We will send you a questionnaire about the hospital and future contact. These are all things that go into deciding if adoption is your choice. Whether you deliver at Bay Care Spring Hill or Oak Hill Hospital, we will coordinate everything for you.
You can request help with your expenses.
Lifetime provides free licensed counseling, as well as free peer counseling with another woman who has been where you are. This can be so important to talk to someone who understands and who may be able to give you tools to help you.
Lifetime also has a Birth Mother Blessing program that provides maternity clothes, toiletries, even a labor bag for when you go to the hospital. Just things to let you know that someone cares about you and your baby – we all do!

I’m 18 and pregnant and still at Brooksville High. Can I do adoption even though my parents think I should have an abortion?
I’m embarrassed to admit it but I don’t know who the father of my baby is. I met a guy at Mermaids in Spring Hill and one thing led to another. Around the same time, I also was with a guy I met near the Red Mule. I didn’t think about getting pregnant and all I know are first names, not even a phone number. Can I do adoption without the baby’s father?
I have a friend with a baby who is homeless and lives near the Weeki Wachee River. She is struggling and worried her baby will be removed from her care. I’d like to tell her about adoption. Does she need an address or anything to do adoption?
I live out in Masaryktown. Can you come meet with me?
How do I know adopting parents are safe?
I have been staying near Sims Park and I didn’t realize I was pregnant until a few weeks ago. I’ve partied quite a bit cuz I didn’t know I was pregnant. Will someone still want my baby?
