find great prenatal careIf you’re pregnant and aren’t seeing a doctor yet, know that Lifetime Adoption Agency Florida can help you! Getting medical attention while you’re pregnant (also known as prenatal care) is important to yours and your baby’s health. Even if you’ve already had a kid, it’s good to get all the care you need during this pregnancy. After all, not every pregnancy is the same.

Even if you don’t have insurance, you can apply for Medicaid. Let Lifetime know if you need help signing up for state-funded health insurance. In some cases, pregnant women are able to apply for emergency Medicaid. Then, you’d be able to see a doctor right away.

You can find OB-GYN doctors in your area by searching online or in your local Yellow Pages. Search for things like “women’s health care”, “obstetrics,” or “gynecology” along with the name of the city you live in. Or, you can search for local doctors by going to Superpages.com and typing in your town or city.

Are you having trouble getting to your doctor’s office? Just let us know, and we can help arrange transportation.

Your first visit to an OB-GYN will probably be longer than the others because there will be a lot of paperwork to complete. It may help you feel more comfortable to bring along someone who cares about you. If you already have kids, make sure to bring someone to watch them in the waiting room when you go in for your exam. After this first visit, you’ll be asked to come back every month for the first seven months of your pregnancy. As you get closer to your due date, they’ll have you coming in more often.
